I currently hold a 5 year Ramón y Cajal post-doctoral fellowship at the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón, Spain. Before re-joining UJI in 2014, I worked for 3 years as a post-doc in the Digital Earth and Reference Data Unit of the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC), and was a post- and pre-doctoral researcher during the period 2002-2010 at the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón, from which I hold a Ph.D. (2006). My research interests lie in multi-disciplinary GIS, spatial analysis & visualization, and user-generated geographic content. In the lab I'm a GIScientist; outside of it I try to be a science communicator.

The below tag cloud gives a rough idea of my research interests in terms of the keywords of my published papers.
