Process

To accomplish the task follow these steps:

1. Choose your group (3-4 students max.) and the business letter type. Note that groups or teams in the class have to be distributed homogenously. The teacher/supervisor will assist you on this.

2. Once you have picked up a business letter type follow the appropriate resources to write an accurate version (check the business letter evaluation rubric for help). You may need to check your stationary supplier web page:

3. Now you are ready to write the business letter you have chosen.

4. Once your letter finished, give it to your teacher who will exchange it with another team that has written the same letter type.

5. Now it is time to assess and evaluate your partner's letter, to do so follow the correction symbols sheet and fill in the business letter evaluation rubric. You can also check the peer review evaluation rubric.

6. Both, the letter corrected according to the correction symbols together with the business letter evaluation rubric already filled in will be collected by the teacher, who will check your correction notes and evaluation.

7. Each group will be given back the revised letters. It is time you discuss about the revised letter with your team and improve it for a final version.

8. Prepare a 10-minute oral presentation showing the steps your team has followed to write the letter, as well as the final version (see the oral presentation evaluation rubric). You can check these resources to improve your presentation:
