The course is designed for learners who need to understand and use the English for computing for study and work. The aim of the course is providing students with real English in the field of computers in order to develop their language skills and to acquire knowledge of computers in English. The course will be organized as follows:
1) PRACTICE:
English for Computer Science. Students’ dossier.
The teacher will provide a course pack with texts related to the field of computers together with a series of vocabulary, grammar and listening activities. This dossier will be available in the photocopying room.
2) THEORY:
For the daily development of theory sessions students will be provided with a Dossier on Academic Writing. The structure, parts and style of Academic Research Articles will be the main point in class.
The mark will be derived from:
