MESSAGE FOR ON-LINE STUDENTS (SAY515):
You can now have access to the subject in the Aula Virtual, though not all information is uploaded yet.
All materials for the module will be available on November 8:
- PROGRAMME
offers a short description of the subject.
- In the section CONTENTS, you will see the slides
shown in the theoretical sessions for the 3 main units we will deal with (Basic
steps when writing research projects, basic structures in research projects,
and basic guidelines in writing academic English).
- ON-LINE TASKS include videos that you can watch and
activities you can do. All of them are related to the contents of the course.
These are NOT compulsory tasks and you do not have to turn them in. Still, I
hope they can be interesting to you.
- USEFUL LINKS include websites dealing with the main
contents seen in class, and are available to help with any further information
or questions you may have.
- The section ASSESSMENT will describe the 2
assignments you have to hand in. The first one (20% of the final mark) is a
summary of course contents, and it can be based on the slides used in class. In
the second assignment (80%) you have to analyse in depth 3 research papers. For
more details on the assignments, please check the Aula Virtual on November 8.
The deadline for assignment submission is February 19.
If you have any doubts on any issue, please let me
know.
Best,
Ana FG
